Our Mission

Financial clarity for everyone

Providing workers, freelancers, and employers with the most accurate, secure, and intuitive paycheck breakdown calculators.

Why We Built Paycheck Calculator

Calculators are either slow, cluttered with pop-up ads, or force you to submit private email details just to see a basic tax estimation. We wanted a tool that feels premium, updates in real-time as you drag sliders, runs completely on your browser, and respects your privacy.

Who maintains this calculator

AK
Asif KhanFounder, Paycheck Calculator

I build and maintain this calculator. I am not a CPA, and nothing on this site is tax advice. What I do is rebuild every state's numbers from the primary sources each year rather than copying another calculator: IRS Revenue Procedures for the federal brackets, each state's Department of Revenue withholding tables for state rates, and the Social Security Administration's annual release for the FICA wage base.

That sounds pedantic until you check the competition. Rates change mid-year, states pass cuts that take effect in January, and a lot of calculators are quietly a year out of date. Ohio moved to a flat 2.75%, North Carolina dropped to 3.99%, and Washington has two payroll programs that most tools leave out entirely. Those are the differences this site exists to catch.

Every state page lists the exact sources behind its figures, with the year and the document, at the bottom of the page. If you find a number that is wrong or out of date, tell me and I will fix it and note when it changed.
